Water filter cartridges are a common item in many homes. They help you keep your drinking water clean and safe to drink. As time passes, the filter cartridges can become clogged or damaged, making them ineffective. That’s why it is important to replace old or worn-out filter cartridges with new ones on a regular basis.

The activated carbon filter cartridge is a popular option for home water filtration systems. This type of filter reduces chlorine, removes sediment, bad taste, heavy metals, and other bacteria and contaminants from the tap water.

Water filters that use replacement filter cartridges can be found in a variety of sizes, shapes, and types. Water filter jugs are a popular type of water filter that use replaceable cartridges. These jugs typically come with two or three refillable filters. Simply unscrew the old cartridge and replace it with a new one. You can also purchase separate replacement filter cartridges for your water filtration system.

When replacing old filter cartridges, be sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for proper installation.

FAQ’S

Exploring our common
questions answered.

Most carbon filter cartridges should be replaced every 6-12 months, depending on water quality and usage. Heavy sediment or high chlorine levels may require more frequent replacement.

Carbon filters effectively remove chlorine, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), pesticides, herbicides, and many chemicals that cause unpleasant tastes and odours.

Standard carbon filters are not designed to remove microorganisms. For bacterial removal, consider our UV or multi-stage filtration systems.

GAC filters use loose carbon granules and provide excellent flow rates, while carbon block filters use compressed carbon for finer filtration but may reduce flow slightly.
