Reverse Osmosis Water Filter Systems are a great way to ensure water quality for safe, clean drinking water for your home or business. However, the filter cartridges need to be replaced regularly in order to keep them functioning properly and effectively. Replacement filter cartridges come in various styles and sizes depending on the type of reverse osmosis system you have installed.

Reverse Osmosis Membranes are one of the key components in a reverse osmosis system. The RO membrane helps filter out Heavy metals, Fluoride, Viruses, Bacteria’s and other contaminants and impurities while allowing clean water to pass through. Over time, the membrane can become clogged with sediment, bacteria and other particles, making it less effective. New cartridge and replacement membranes should be changed every 2-4 years depending on use and water conditions.

Water filters with carbon block sediment filters are an important part of the reverse osmosis system. Carbon block filters help reduce chlorine, bad tastes, odors, and other impurities from your water source. These blocks must also be regularly replaced to maintain a high level of performance. Replacement filter cartridges are available in various sizes and styles depending on the type of system you have installed.

FAQ’S

Exploring our common
questions answered.

Most carbon filter cartridges should be replaced every 6-12 months, depending on water quality and usage. Heavy sediment or high chlorine levels may require more frequent replacement.

Carbon filters effectively remove chlorine, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), pesticides, herbicides, and many chemicals that cause unpleasant tastes and odours.

Standard carbon filters are not designed to remove microorganisms. For bacterial removal, consider our UV or multi-stage filtration systems.

GAC filters use loose carbon granules and provide excellent flow rates, while carbon block filters use compressed carbon for finer filtration but may reduce flow slightly.
